Fundraising Seminar at Refuge BJJ

Jiu Jitsu Tribe conducted a fundraising seminar at Refuge Bjj.  Black Belt instructor Sarah Black volunteered her time and skill to conduct a kids seminar.  Sarah is an excellent kids instructor mixing the perfect amount of instruction and fun.

After the kids seminar, Refuge owner Josh Guerra was promoted to black belt.  We congratulate Josh for his dedication to the the gentle art and reaching the highest level.

An adult fundraising seminar followed the promotion conducted by Gustavo Dantas.  The seminar was well attended and a lot of fun was had.  As a thank you to those who attended our photography sponsor High Tier Photo agreed to make the event photo free to our seminar attendees.

We were able to raise $1,600 from the events.  These funds will go directly to two active fundraising project: Projeto Gaditas and Forming Champions in Bahia, Brazil.  Thank you to our donors for your support!

We would also like to extend a thank you to Refuge owners Josh and Kanani Guerra for hosting us and allowing us to conduct the seminar at their academy.
